The GTZ Health Sector Programme held a meeting with a mission from Tokyo that was in the country to evaluate the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Total Quality Management (TQM) for Better Hospital Services initiative.
GTZ Health Sector Programme in line with the government’s goal of developing an Accreditation Policy and Health Facilities Accreditation Framework, which aims at establishing and operationalizing an accreditation system, provided support in conducting a design and feasibility study on accreditation.
The GTZ Health Sector Programme, on 14th October 2009, participated in a one- day workshop on Policy and Training on Accreditation that was organised by Global Healthcare Public Foundation with sponsorship from the United States Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention.
