GTZ Health Sector Programme in collaboration with Health NGOs Network held a successful workshop of ICT Officers and IT Managers from the Ministry of Health and over 30 Health institutions working in Kenya. Dr. Klaus J. Hornetz (Programme Leader GTZ Health Sector Programme) and Mrs. Ruth K. Charo (the Hennet Coordinator) made introduction remarks.
Beginning 2007, GTZ Head Quarters made available an additional grant for activities on HIV/AIDS and Youth in order to improve adolescents’ knowledge on prevention of unwanted pregnancies and HIV/AIDS.

Through support of GTZ, the Division of Reproductive Health (DRH) in collaboration with Shangari Communication, a local Community Based Organization, successfully completed the 3 months transmission of â€Get Connectedâ€, an Edutainment Adolescent/Youth radio programme on reproductive health.
Among the activities which the Division of Reproductive health has planned in its Annual Operational Plan 2007/2008 is the mapping and accreditation of Youth Friendly Services in Western and Nyanza Provinces.
