GTZ Health Sector Programme (HSP) was represented by Art2Be in the 4th African Conference on Sexual Health and Rights held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in February 2010.
The GTZ Kenya Health Sector Programme hosted the GTZ Health Sector Network Meeting on Health and Social Protection from 20th Feb – 26th Feb 2010 at the Serena Beach Hotel in Mombasa.Â
Budget Sector Hearings for 2010/2011- 2012/2013 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) have been taking place (17th February to 26th February 2010).
Dr. Tobias Kalenscher, University of Amsterdam, will on 27th February 2010 deliver a public lecture on ‘My Brother’s Keeper? Understanding Attitudes towards Solidarity Based Health Care Systems from a Decision-making Perspective’.
As a key actor in sexual and reproductive health, on Friday 19th February 2010, GTZ Health Programme participated in a launch of the guide book ‘We’re talking about sex’ for group leaders that was held by Trust for Indigenous Cultural and Health (TICAH) .
The German Development Cooperation participated in the Development Partners in Health Kenya DPHK held monthly meeting that was held on February 18, 2010. GDC/GTZ participated in the meeting as one of the deputy Chairs of the group.
The GTZ Health Sector programme brings to the attention of its staff and partners the forth coming short courses on international development cooperation that have been organised by SLE, Humboldt-Universität, Berlin Germany.
The GTZ Health Sector Programme, on 16th February 2010, participated in the launch of a document on best practices in reproductive health in Kenya.
On 13th February 2010, the Draft Health Financing Strategy was presented to the National Economic and Social Council, the highest public organ advising the Government on policies and strategies towards the realisation of Vision 2030 and the first Medium Term Strategy (MTP 2008- 2012).
The GTZ Health Sector Programme has been invited to a public lecture on Sexual Minority Rights that will be held on February 16, 2010 at Alliance Française from 4pm to 6pm.
